AMKUS Service Qualifications
Diamondback Fire & Rescue performs the maintenance and service functions on over 400 sets of AMKUS Rescue Systems sets located throughout the nine western states. In addition to being AMKUS Certified Extrication Trainers, all of Diamondbacks Sales Representatives are Certified Factory Trained Technicians.
As a Customer Service driven corporation, Diamondback Fire & Rescue defined for this industry the standard for performing maintenance and repairs to hydraulic rescue tools. All of its competitors either out-sourced their service function to a third party or would pick up the equipment from the department and forwarded it to the factory for repair.

It was Diamondback that brought to this business segment the service trailer concept of taking the trailer to the station, performing the maintenance/repair on-site, while providing a loaner set of tools to the station so that they would always remain ‘in service’.

It was Diamondback that committed to a service window of 24 hours to where if we were maintaining their tools and a station had a problem with any of the system components, that component would be either repaired or a loaner provided within that 24 hour window.
